Jalisa has 8 years of experience in writing grants and proposals for non-profits and educational programming. As a social entrepreneur, she has also written proposals and business plans, following training from Urban League New Orleans  and other organizations in the United States.

Jalisa has experience and interest in editing fiction and non-fiction, Black Studies, pop culture, blogs, and culture pieces. Most recently, Jalisa assisted in editing The Seduction of Your Mental 3: Erotic Short Stories and Poems. She also curates the blog Dance Love Letter, a space for commentary about the art of dance, and a space for her to explore her voice as a choreographer.

Event production, organizing, scheduling

Jalisa is a planner at heart and, her mission is to use her skills to assist her community into pursuing their dreams. An avid bullet journaler, she can assist in organizing schedules, planning events, and charting a path for big visions and goals.
